Alstom T&D India Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 45.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total income during this period stood at Rs 1013.71 crore.

Alstom T&D India announced on Monday it has posted a net profit of Rs 454.2 million as the same was at Rs 287.8 million for the quarter ended Mar. 31, 2011, representing an increase of 57.82%.

The market seems to be unwilling to let go of its downward slide, and therefore Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analystics.com says there is no sense in going long on the market.
